Like the terrorists today, during WWII the Japanese were similarly brainwashed to believe that the Americans would do unspeakable things to them (probably read too much Sy Hersh) to the extent that thousands of Japanese citizens hurled their children and themselves off cliffs as Japanese forces were defeated on Okinawa.
Yet, for liberals, it's simply 'The Oil Stupid' oh ya, and US foreign policy. If only we would be 'nice' and embrace Global Warming initiatives, the world would be a peaceful place and terrorist would become doctors and firemen.
